To create your own clothing, skins and so on

you will need a guide/map for the Dinkie. This map is called UV Map.

Go to Etheria's store and buy the

Creators Full Perms Skin Kit for Dinkie *Kitty* or *Bunny*

There is also a new HD (high definition) Make-Up Mask for the Bento Kitty (1.9),
which gives you the opertunity to create more detailed face enhancements.

Then -> Coffee -> grab your brushes ->  go go go!

No idea how to get your brushes going?

Here are some videos:

showing you how to create clothing starting with an UV map.

This video is more tattoo related.

In the videos the UV map of the standard SL Avatar is used.
YOU will have to use the Dinkie UV Maps instead!

The way to create your own BOM clothing, tattoos or even skin is the same as shown in the videos!

Don't give up early - It is an easy to learn, but hard to master thing at first. You may need hours - depending on your experiences in creating textures and working with GIMP or Photoshop - even days to create your first shirt. But it really works like that!

Practice creates masters! AND you will be so proud of yourself once you tamed it ;)

How to use your textures in SL

Clothing:

Firestorm -> right click in Inventory -> New Clothes -> New Universal -> Rename it -> ADD it -> right click -> Edit
-> Add your clothing texture in the according field (upper for shirts, lower for pants....I guess you got it now ) -  Save!

Skin:

For a skin you will need to create at least your own head, upper+lower body and tail texture.
In the past the Dinkie was textured directly.
For the BoM Dinkie you will have to create a skin and an universal for the tail.

Firestorm -> right click in Inventory -> New Body Parts -> New Skin -> Rename it -> Wear it -> right click -> Edit
-> add your Dinkie textures to head, upper and lower texture -> Save!!!

Tail:

Firestorm -> right click in Inventory -> New Clothes -> New Universal -> Rename it -> ADD it -> right click -> Edit
-> Add tail texture in the field "Aux1 Tattoo" !!! - Save!

In the same universal you can also add the mouth texture to Aux3.
If you don't have it just leave it blank!

Eyes:

Firestorm right click in Inventory -> New Body Parts -> New Eyes -> Rename it -> Wear it -> right click -> Edit
-> Add Eye Texture -> Set Eye Lightness to 100 (!) -> Save!
